Having played the original PC game, this game is everything wrong with mobile crammed into an otherwise good game. The missions are broken up by adding a 'hub' and rather than picking up frequently dropped weapon parts giving you a constant supply of new weaponry to shoot aliens, weapon parts are few and far between and you have to pay in game currency to upgrade them.
This of course is paired with a premium currency you can buy to skip that process! It ruins the pacing of an otherwise great game. You could play through the original campaign on PC in a short while.
In this you're hamstrung by weapon upgrades requiring you sink more time into the game. The game runs on practically anything and provides a much more cohesive experience. Space Marshals 2. One of the best Tower defense games I've ever seen. I love the challenge of it. Plus it's not every day where you see a tower defense game where you can play a level and earn coins and everything until you lose everything as an extra level.
